Work Experience Before Montgomery Blair:
- Thirty-plus years of experience and service at all levels of
education.
- At the elementary level, served as a teacher, mentor and consultant.
- At the secondary level, served as a teacher, special programs
coordinator, assistant principal and principal.
- In the higher education arena has served and currently serves
as professor/teacher (doctoral and masters levels),
program director, assistant dean, dean, executive assistant to
the president and consultant.
Responsibilities at Montgomery Blair:
- Serves as a part of administrative team as assistant principal.
- Responsible for administrative supervision of the following:
Business/Computer Science Department, Entrepreneurship Academy,
Foreign Language Department, Fine Arts Department and the CAP Program
(Communications Arts Program).
- Also responsible for school-wide testing as Co-Testing Coordinator;
ID processes and Procedures; Opening and Closing of School; SHARP
Liaison; Graduation, Student Discipline and other duties as assigned.
Personal Information/family/hobbies/talents:
- Married to Winifred Annette Sanders Coleman, who
is also an educator, and they are the parents of two (2) children,
Andrew IV and Whitney Alexis.
- Enjoys traveling, biking, cooking, volunteer work for social
causes and business development.
